Crystal Palace have raised the price for England defender Marc Guehi to £70m amid interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.
Guehi was one of England’s most consistent performers at the European Championships, missing
just one game after picking up a yellow card during their trip to Germany. Liverpool
, Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle have all been linked with the defender, along with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus. While Guehi has reportedly rejected a new contract from Palace, securing a move for the 23-year-old will be difficult, with
The ufabet http://ufabet999.app reporting that Palace have increased their minimum fee for the 23-year-old from £50m to £70m.
The figure is not only based on his Euros performances but also because of a clause in his contract which states Chelsea will receive 20 per cent of any profits from his sale after they sold Guehi to their London rivals in 2021 for £18m.
Suspended against Switzerland
Guehi was shown a yellow card during Sunday’s clash with Slovakia and will be suspended against Switzerland.
Impact Guehi has started all four matches to open Euro 2024 and is now set for a suspension. It’s a tough turn for the defender who has been a solid partner in the backline for John Stones. Ezri Konsa or Joe Gomez could be summoned to start against Switzerland.
